Silver Jubilee of Project Women Entrepreneurship Development Program by RCP Metro RCP Metro completed its 25th year of Women Entrepreneurship Development Program ( WEDP) today. And we had the pleasure of having DG Shital Shah grace the valediction and certificate distribution ceremony. WEDP is spearheaded by RCP Metro in association with Indsearch Management Institute and Jagruti Seva sanstha and is aimed at empowering women from lower economic strata to start their own small scale businesses and become productive, contributing members of their households. Over the last 25 years over 600 women have completed this program and about 80% of these women are successfully running their small businesses today. The program that takes place over 2 days gives these women inputs on Stress management, self development, work life balance, Building a business, marketing, managing finances, keeping accounts and banking. At the end of the 2 days program, 3 women who have completed this program in the earlier years and are now running successful ventures, are invited to share their experiences, guide and motivate the participants. On this Silver Jubilee occasion, RCP Metro felicitated at the hands of DG Shital, the 3 strong pillars of WEDP - Dr Ashok Joshi, Director General, Indsearch; Jayashree Kale, Head of Jagruti Seva sanstha and Ann Ashwini Joshi from RCP Metro who has been the Convener of WEDP, for all the 25 years. It is their conviction, dedication and consistent efforts that have ensured the success of this project all along. Let us all work together to achieve the golden jubilee of this impactful project.
