'All about Snakes' a PowerPoint presentation cum interactive session was held on 12th August 24 at the Interact Club of Nutan Bal Vikas Mandir school. Aditya Paranjape, Honorary Chief Wildlife warden of Pune district and RESQ Charitable trust's Amit.Todkar and Srinath Jadhav showed the children how to identify the four poisonous snakes found in Maharashtra and what care one should take so that snakes do not enter our house or surroundings and what should one do to avoid a snake bite. RESQ Charitable trust mainly works for the rehabilitation of orphaned or injured animals and their volunteers who are well trained also attend to calls from civilians regarding wildlife movement in residential areas. They also advised children not to feed animals and birds.
