The Rotary Club of Pune Cantonment (RCPC) has been instrumental in transforming lives through two significant initiatives, showcasing their dedication to creating a positive impact in the community. Antulay Nagar Leprosy Colony Water Project On September 8, 2024, President Brigadier PKM Raja inaugurated the Antulay Nagar Water Project, a humanitarian initiative undertaken in RY 2023-24. This project aimed to improve the living conditions of those afflicted with leprosy and rehabilitated in 1971. The colony, home to individuals who have faced immense challenges, lacked access to basic amenities, including clean water. Thanks to the efforts of: • Rtn Nafisa Kakajiwala, who brought attention to the issue through a newspaper report • Cmde Ajay Chitnis, who sanctioned the project as President • Rtn Giri Sakhrani, Director Service Project, who oversaw the initiative • Rtn Yogesh Shah, who provided wholehearted support The project has brought hope and relief to the residents, ensuring a better quality of life.
