On the midnight of August 15, 2024, a unique skating rally for children aged three to fifteen was organized jointly by the Rotary Club of Pen and Little Climbers Sports Academy. It was an extraordinary rally, filled with thrill, adventure, and skill. The young students completed the rally from Shivaji Maharaj Chowk to Raigad Bazaar and back to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue. The skating skills of the students were witnessed by all the residents of Pen. The rally was flagged off by the Tehsildar of Pen, Mr. Tanaji Shejal, and Police Inspector Mr. Sandeep Bagul. The President of the Rotary Club of Pen, Rtn. Sanyogita Temghare, and the coach of Little Climbers, Rohan Manore, shared their thoughts on the occasion. The rally was made successful with the special cooperation of Rtn. Sachin Shigwan, Rtn. Vijay Shah, Rtn. Imtiaz Maniyar, Rtn. Ashok Jain, Rtn. Mitesh Shah, Rtn. Madhubala Nikam, Rtn. Jayesh Shah, Rtn. Harish Bekawade, Rtn. Shital Mali, Mukunda Temghare, Lankesh Part, Shailesh Nikam, Radha Manore, and Poonam Shah. The event was anchored by Rtn. Shital Mali. When these future architects of India skated holding the tricolor in their hands, the thrilling sight left all the residents of Pen mesmerized.
