On October 2, 2024, the Rotary Club of Pen celebrated Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti at the Mahatma Gandhi Library in Pen. The event was a joint effort by the Mahatma Gandhi Library and the Rotary Club of Pen. Arvind Wange, the President of the Mahatma Gandhi Library, gave a speech about Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Following this, garlands were placed on the portraits of both leaders. Many dignitaries from Pen attended the event, and Rotary Club President Sanyogita Temghare, Ashok Jain, Jayesh Shah, and Rohan Manore were present.
