On July 11th, Rotarians Navin, Harry, and Mahesh visited the Ashram School in Wagholi, operated by BVJSS (Bhartiya Vimukta Sati Shikshan Sanstha). BVJSS is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope and support to orphans, children with disabilities, and those who are blind or deaf. Since 1987, they have been serving these vulnerable children, with 350 currently residing in the hermitage. The visit provided the Rotarians with valuable insight into the school's specific needs in the area of skill development. Based on this experience, we are considering assessing the requirements of VVM school, Dighi school, and Sanmati Bal Niketan as well. The Ashram School visit was a significant learning experience, and it was felt that more members and Anns from the Rotary Club could have participated.
