Report on Peace Week Celebration by Rotary Club Chinchwad Date: September 13, 2024 Event: Celebration of Peace Week with Recitation of Atharvashirsh Avenue: Peace Building and Conflict Resolution On September 13, 2024, the Rotary Club of Chinchwad, in collaboration with the Interact Club of D.I.C.'s English Medium School, celebrated Peace Week with a special event featuring the recitation of the Atharvashirsh by Interactors. The event had the participation from: D.I.C.'s English Medium School: 1,480 students and 76 staff members Members of the Rotary Community Corps (RCC) from DIC's Educators and Kids World Vidya Seva: 30 members Rotary Club of Chinchwad Pune: 2 members and 1 Annet This initiative, led by President Rtn Harsha Joshi and Director Rtn Dr. Sangeeta Ranade, aimed to promote peace and harmony within the community. The recitation of the Atharvashirsh served as a profound reminder of the values of unity and tranquility, encouraging participants to reflect on their role in fostering a peaceful environment. The event was a great success, uniting students, educators, and Rotary members in a shared commitment to peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
