On the occasion of "Global Handwashing Day" an event was organized for the students of Shri Annasaheb Sahasrabuddhe Tribal Ashram School, Wakadi, by Rotary Club of Panvel Sunrise and Janiv Social Service Organization. Past President Dr. Vijaykumar Kulkarni explained the importance of handwashing, proper techniques, and the diseases caused by improper hand hygiene. He also demonstrated the correct handwashing method, followed by students performing the demonstration. Dettol soap was distributed to the students to mark the day. The school principal, Mrs. Kranti Patil, expressed her gratitude to the Rotary Club and Janiv organization and encouraged the continuation of such initiatives. Around 200 students participated in these events, with several dignitaries and teachers present.
