The event brought together 150 grandparents for a cultural enrichment and education day. Overview of the Programme: The celebration commenced with a vibrant cultural programme performed by DIC's English Medium School students. Their performances, which included dances and songs, were a heartfelt tribute to the grandparents, showcasing the intergenerational bond and respect for the elderly. Following the cultural presentations, Advocate Preeti Sathe delivered an informative session on "Rights of the Elderly People." Her talk highlighted essential legal rights and protections available to senior citizens, empowering them with knowledge about their entitlements and encouraging them to advocate for themselves.
