The warkari Dindi is a very well known event that happens in Maharashtra every year. Generally the devotees are people from below poverty line that come from far away villages to be a part of the pilgramage. The devotees travel on foot for 20 days and reach pandharpur while chanting shlokas on Ashadi Ekadhashi day. During their tough pilgrimage of 20 days in the rain they rely on help from the local community. From RCP bavdhan elite as a sign of community spirit we shall be doing Donation of raincoats . 400 raincoats were donated to the Warkaris to protect them from rain during their 20 days of travel. Furthermore the club also donated 15 special TAAL i.e a musical equipment required for their shlokas, since devotees are from poor background and cannot always afford the taal for their songs. The club also donated 50 kgs of organic rice for their food preparations & travel to Pandharpur. Total people from from RCP Bavdhan were 47 which was 80% of members of of club. The club also did volunteering at the Warkari's for at least 9 hours.
