On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, 26th July 2024, the Rotary Club of Pune Tilak Road and Martyr Captain Sushant Godbole Foundation organized a special Blood Donation Camp for Police today at Police Hospital Shivajinagar Pune. 60 policemen donated blood for the country's soldiers and military hospitals. Collected blood was given to AFMC. The program was attended by Upper Commissioner of Police Arvind Chawria along with Deputy Commissioner of Police Rohidas Pawar, and ACP Yogesh More. Expressing his thoughts on this occasion, Upper Police Commissioner Arvind Chawria said, "Defense forces look after the external security of our country and we police look after the internal security. Our policemen also feel that we should do something more and today we were given this opportunity, we are very grateful for that. Thank you." President Rtn. Parag Gadgil, Secretary Rtn. Devdatta Hambardikar, PE Rtn. Prasad Kumbhojkar, IPP Rtn. Girish Brahme, First Lady Dr. Manjiri Hambardikar, and President of Martyr Captain Sushant Godbole Foundation Suvarna (Geeta) Godbole and others were present. Each blood donor was gifted with a certificate, a tiffin box, and a raincoat by Shri Ajay Prabhu through the Rotary Club of Pune Tilak Road. Parnal Dekhane and Police Health Coordinator Amol Kshirsagar provided valuable support in organizing this program.
