National Conference on Social Innovations an Eye opener for every Rotarian to see what new innovations are possible to get more from less for more people. 21 Innovators presented their innovations , each an excellent idea for the underdeveloped breathing new Oxygen into the realm of progress. Vice President of India inaugurated the Conference. Other dignitaries were the Governor of Maharashtra and the Palak Mantri of Pune. High light of the Conference was the Anjani Mashelkar Award Presentation for the best innovation of the year which went to person who devised an ECG machine which can be operated on a smart phone and can be relayed to a doctor by merely putting his thumbs on the screen.!
