We did this project at Village Mandalwadi, Shirur. This area is declared as drought area by state government. Hence it is difficult for people to celebrate festivals due to less income. Diwali is a big festival in India. Hence our club decided to distribute goods required to celebrate Diwali. We distributed these kits to the children going to primary school. We also distributed Book bank. We did this project jointly with Pandit Din Dayal Trust. Total cost for this project was Rs. 10000/- (USD 154)
