This project has been going on in our club for almost ? 20 years. Under this project, we are giving financial assistance to needy patients at various eye hospitals for cataract and corneal grafting surgeries. It is really a rewarding project in terms of results,as vision is one of the greatest necessities of any human being, and so one of the greatest gifts that we can give anyone. Cataract is the major preventable cause of blindness in our country and corneal grafting is needed mainly in young patients with trauma to cornea. Hence we are trying to serve patients with these two major causes of blindness in our locality. This year we have performed - - cataract surgeries with IOL and - - corneal grafting surgeries. We must acknowledge the contribution by Tobaccowala foundation in this endeavour.
