Under the Rotary Distance Education Program, our club has donated a software with full syllabus from class1 to class X, one projector and a laptop to our HAPPY SCHOOL, Sajnabai Bhandari Vidyalaya on 15 December,2015., Our club had earlier helped the school to set up their computer lab by donating the full set of furniture for the lab.Now we managed to get this RDEP package at a concessional rate of Rs.26,000 ( actual price is Rs.68,000) with the help of RC Chinchwad from their Global Grant scheme. In a small function today , the school authorities recognized the contribution of RCPD in trying to make the school happy. They also invited the local corporator , Sm. Latatai Rajguru to grace the function. Our Director, Service Projects Local, Rajesh Gupta made a board with our club's name to be put on the wall of the computer lab.The lab instructor showed the students some of the lessons from various subjects using the software. President Supriya told the students and the teachers to use the computers and the software regularly, to keep a record of the uses and also to keep the computer lab neat and clean. PP Biman Mookerji told them that since the year 2013, we have been trying to help the school by building a toilet for girls and also by organizing Eye-check up camp. This year we have done a large number of projects with them. We are very happy to inform that all our projects at this HAPPY SCHOOL are sponsored by our members. This RDEP project is also sponsored by Rtn. Aruna Rathi. From our club Rtns. PP Biman Mookerji, Pinky Mehmi,Aruna Rathi,Rajesh Gupta, President Supriya Banerjea and Ann Manju Mookerji were present for the function.
