The District Interact Conference was held on 3 rd January 2016 and hosted by RC Khopoli at Samarth Mangal Karyalaya, Mumbai Pune highway, Khopoli. It was attended by a total of 474 people which included ----- interactors from 17 interact clubs, -----Rtns and 15 guests from Khopoli, Rasayani, Pune, Indapur and other parts of the District. The Conference, 'Sneh Maitree' was inaugurated by District Governor Rtn Subodh Joshi. After the meeting was called to order by Host Club President Rtn Niraj Jadhav, there was the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, followed by Ganesh Vandana by national award winner Ms. Kirti Khalate . The opening remarks were by District Director Youth , Rtn Divakaran Pillai, followed by Overview of Interact by Dist. Interact Chairman Rtn Sham Kulkarni and Logistics by Convenor Rtn Dr Nalini Ramaswamy. Chief Guest DG Rtn. Subodh gave a motivating guidance speech. Interactors of various clubs participated wholeheartedly in the conference from national anthem, pledge, to introduction of chief guest and vote of thanks. 'Make your future' was the topic of Rtn Divakaran Pillai 's brilliant speech. After a hearty lunch it was time for competitions. The Skit and Dance competitions had more than 12 entries each and the Interactors brought the house down with their smart moves, cheering and participation. The Valedictory Session was chaired by DGE Rtn Prashant Deshmukh who gave away trophies to all the prize winners. Every interact club also received a memento of participation and a card with the Interact Pledge and the 4 Way Test. Every interactor truly lived up to the motto of interact , by having ' serious fun'. The vote of thanks at the close was given by President Elect Rtn. Dr. Sunil Deodikar. The success of the Dist Conference was due to meticulous planning by President, Secretary and the whole team.
