Panvel Festival Is A 10 Day Gala Event Organised by our club Rotary Club Of Panvel, with the intent to bring closer citizens of Panvel under one roof to celebrate this city's liveliness. This was our 19th year of Panvel Festival, which is a most awaited festival by Panvelkars. Its a one behemoth gathering celebrated by over 1.5 Lakh Panvelkars. Panvel Festival is one stop shop happiness carnival for people of all ages and walks of life. Panvel Festival boasts of showcasing some of the most unique products/services to the people and food stalls with variety of cuisines. Panvel Festival is a perfect melange for entrepreneurs to, reach out to more people with their brand and showcase their products to large audience. We, as organisers, offer a unique opportunity in the form of “Panvel Festival” . Be A part of this jamboree and watch as festivities unfold. All, for a greater cause shared and by Rotary Club of Panvel and community at large. This year we erected 175 stalls, which including 140 Consumer stalls and 35 Food stalls, and for entertainment we scheduled cultural programs for all Days of festival. For some fun we also installed Amusement park for kids. Every year celebrities grace Panvel Festival to recharge the fervour that our gala festival is. Previous boats of celebrities . Free entry passes distributed to 45 thousand to Panvel & nearby schools. 182 stalls , which including 140 Consumer stalls and 35 Food stalls, and for entertainment we scheduled cultural programs for all Days of festival. SUPPORTING "ROTARACT "& " INTERACT CLUB " - ROTARACT CLUB : In Panvel festival, every year we give free stalls to our Rotaract Club, Rotaract club of Panvel and Rotaract Club of Laxmi Eye Institute of Optometry. Participating in this event, is the only source for fund raising. and which they can utilise it through-out the year for their Community Service Projects activities. Both the president find this festival as a great support to built friendship between Rotaract Members. And it also helps to make a strong bond between both Rotaract club and Rotary club of Panvel. INTERACT CLUB : We formed a new interact club at DAV public school, Panvel. They also participated in Panvel Festival through a beautiful stage performanc -UNITY IN DIVERSITY : Panvel is a cosmopolitan area. In panvel, we can find all peoples from north, south, east & west i.e. singhi, gujrathi, punjabi, marathi, Malayalam, Telgu etc. All of them live together. We Rotary Club of Panvel promote their cultures through this Panvel Festival, we give them free stalls to present their cultural related products like clothing, articles, food etc. so that every body may understand the culture. For exposure We also allow them to participate in Cultural stage shows, so they can present their cultural art in front of many peoples, because of this beautiful idea Panvel Festival gets maximum footfalls. DONATION TO ROTARY FOUNDATION- POLIO ERADICATION INTIATIVE RC Panvel supporting to International Rotary Foundation- Polio Eradication Initiative. We donate Rs.1 from entry tickets bought from visitors who visited this Panvel Festiva. In this Panvel Festival2015 we sold 65,000 entry tickets, hence we donated Rs.65,000/- to Rotary Foundation. -GREAT "PR" FOR ROTARY RC Panvel trying to make ROTARY as a BRAND, by displaying completed projects done by RC Panvel in last few years and also upcoming Projects. All this Displays were located at very prime location, so that every visitor passes through this displays before approaching a Stalls. THIS YEAR TOTAL VISITOR COUNT WERE 1,50,000/- OUT OF THAT 40000 were children BET 8 TO 14 YR AGE with free enrtry pass - OPPORTUNIES TO SMALL LOCAL VENDORS : RC Panvel every year promote local 'Mahila Bachat Gat' to take part in Panvel festival and This year we reserved few stalls 'Mahila Bachat Gat' and they displayed products like handcrafts, food products, handmade cloths in front this huge crowd and has a very good business .
