Distribution of Cows to 13 villages from Khed & Maval blocks of 150 cows. Motivational Meetings in these 13 villages with Home visits of 150 cow beneficiaries after having done Socio Economic survey & filling up 150 forms have been completed. Market survey for purchase of cow has been completed. Our expert has selected 5 market places. Actual choice of the Cow will be done by the beneficiary – which will be certified by the expert from JBGVS. Quotation for Insurance of 150 cows has been collected from New India Insurance Company, Rajgurunagar—will be finalized soon. 3 Training Programs were conducted for 150 cow beneficiaries. Out of which 2 were for Khed and 1 for Maval area. RCPN Rotarians attended the inauguration of these programs at 2 places namely – Kalechiwadi in Khed Taluka & Kanhephata in Maval Taluka. Purchase of 1st Batch of 50 cows is in progress – the required money has been transferred. All the 150 cows are planned to be purchased by 31st March 2016 Symbolic ceremony of handing over cows was carried out on Monday 08 February 2016 at ‘Falani’ village in Maval District and subsequently on Friday 12 February 2016 at ‘Darakwadi’ village in Khed District, Maharashtra India. The response from the selected beneficiaries is very positive, very cooperating & encouraging. This augurs well for success of our project.
