Participation 20 Rotarians / Anns from RCP Kothrud Special Features Considering constraints on gathering together for doing a project and different ideas which Rotarians wanted to implement as per their convenience, venue / timings for this project were not fixed. Rotarians were at liberty to carry out activities to reduce carbon foot prints at the venue of their own choice and convenience. This was a new idea altogether. Happening of the required activities was given importance over gathering together. Project Expenses Borne by the participants. Highlights Different Rotarians carried out different activities. To name a few – • Rtn PP Gulab Ghule pooled a car with his friends while going to Golf Club and also came for Rotary meeting in BMCC in a public transport • Rtn PP Sumedha Bhosale changed the regular bulbs with CFL / eco friendly bulbs and gave a new eco look to her business premises • Rtn IPP Vinay Tambe travelled to his native in public transport instead of car • President Dilip Pangarkar and Ann Neena planted trees at their Pirangut residence • Rtn PP Shriniwas Gokhale took lift for travelling throughout the day. • Rtn Vasantrao Kulkarni did not use his vehicle for the whole day and went walking for his work.
