On the eve of International Women's Day Our club felicitated 3 successful women who possessed the qualities wisdom, dutifulness and tolerance. They have been successful despite facing all odds that came their way. Arati Halbe who is suffering from cancer has given counselling to over 1500 patients. It is commendable how she manage to put her own problems on the backfoot to concentrate on helping others. She truly embodies the spirit of Rotary ie. Service above self. Bharati Adasul works as a masseuse. Her husband was suffering from spinal injury, due to which he was unable to provide for the family. Therefore Bharati took up the mantle and not only ensured that her children were properly educated but also helped her husband to get out of that disease. Jayshree Kale is a Social worker. She works for the slum dwellers of Gokhale Nagar area for 22 years.
