32000 trees planted over 25 hectares of forest at Chimbali, Pune along with 20 other Rotary Clubs( ie1524 trees per club). Each Club had an average of 125 school students for plantation on the site. 150 Rotarians and non-Rotarians participated. The trees were provided by the Forest Department. RC Poona brought in 100 students from Rosary Schools in Pune & 20 Rtns. Beneficiaries : 50 per tree.(total:32000X50/21=76190 per club).Cost including incidentals:Rs10/treeX32000/21=15238per club.
