Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife.As government of Maharashtra has announced to plant 2 crores trees On 1st Jully 2016 so on this occasion Rotary club of Indapur & Forest Department of indapur has planted 33000 Trees at a time in kauthali. In this we planted “desi trees” adaptable to geographical climate and useful like neem, peepal, ashoka, banyan are promoted instead of the exotic variety.we have completed this project with the help of Rotarct Club,Vidya Pratishtan Indapur,S B Patil Indapur,ITI Sonai.Rotary club of indapur has arranged more than 1200 volunteers to complete this project.
