On 29th Oct 2016, we celebrated the Diwali Pahat in a different manner. We took nealy 80 inmates of Matoshri Ashram, in a bus to the Bal Gandharva Natya Mandir early morning at 5.00 am. There along with the Punya Bhushan Foundation and Tridal we had organised a musical programme - Taalyatra. The front portion of the theatre had a 15 feet colourful rangoli to well come all the guests. Traditional music was been played in the back ground. Ladies in peculiar maharahtrian saree were present at the entrance with diyas as a customary tradition."Pakka Punekar" award was given to thde representatives of Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Bhandar Prachvidya Sanshodhan , Bharat Itihas Sanshodhan Mandal, Mahavir Jain Vidhyalaya and Maharashtra Mandal. Musical programme by Pt. Suresh Talwalkar and his troop was presented. The programme was attended by many honourable dignitaries from the town. All were please and enjoyed the beautiful programme.
