Bone densitometry Camp was conducted at Rtn. Dr. Nankar ’s clinic. President Sunil Jejurikar inaugurated the camp. Audio visual slideshow about osteoporosis was shown. It included Definition, Incidence, Causes ,Symptoms, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. The calcium density in the bones was checked through a machine, as per the density level; patients were divided into safe, moderate-dangerous and very dangerous zones. 60 people benefited from this camp. Dr.Nankar provided free consultation and advice to patients. Sumati Jejurikar, ( President Jejurikar’s mother) was the senior most citizen present at the camp.
