It is said that, Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. On that note, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite donated 9 Solar Lights to the villagers of Sidhalachi Wadi which is a tribal village near Pen, Maharashtra. It was very moving to see relief and big smiles on faces of the beneficiaries as many of them did not have lights in their homes for many years. One of the biggest achievements for us was when we were sent photographs of students studying together under the light which we donated. This, we believe is true essence of service at Rotary.
