During Blood donation camp on doctor’s day on 01.07.2013, Rotary Club of Panvel received various suggestions from blood banks and doctors that during winter season acute shortage of blood is faced by hospitals and blood banks and a blood donation camp be arranged during winter season. Rotary Club of Panvel, Rotaract club of Panvel and DAV School New Panvel jointly organized a blood donation camp on 24.11.2013 wherein 104 bottles of blood was collected. Alltogether 3 blood banks were called in and parents of the school children and citizens of New Panvel gave a very good response to the camp.
