Rotary Year 2021-2022 started ,but before installation ceremony ,Nature striked in the kokan region. On 22 nd July ...Mahad / Chiplun was flooded like never before in last 100 yeras. Almost all Mahad City was under water for more then 15' to 30 '. Rtn. Rajiv Gokhale of our Club immediately came in to action sensing the Trauma with which people are suffering in Mahad City and the area surrounding the Mahad. He was able to convince the Rotary Leadership at District level and apart from Mahad all the clubs in vicinity were cane to action with immediate effect. As soon as water subsidised, the much needed Food Materials/ Water / and clothes were procurrred from District Disaster Mangment Team . All the clubs worked with hand n gloves to help the flood hit City Mahad. For the next ten days Roha , Roha Central , Mangaon and Goregaon clubs worked as a Team and helped all the affected people along with the suffering Rotarians from Mahad Club. Rotarians devoted their time, energy and funds to help the needy people.
