For many years, RCPN has been recognizing, honoring and encouraging enterprising and successful businesswomen in the Pune region. This year also we decided to honor 3 businesswomen who have succeeded against heavy odds. The selection process started in October 2015. To start with, we collected basic information from likely candidates. Our panelists met shortlisted candidates and then took the decision on merit basis. The chosen candidates were awarded a trophy and citation at the Club Function. Attached herewith, please find a small questionnaire seeking basic information. The Rotary Club of Poona North is the second oldest Rotary Club in the Pune region and has a record of exceptional social service for over 50 years, winning several awards. Women Entrepreneurs Award is one of the several social service projects planned for this year.
